The Efficiency of Batch Image Compression

Whether you are building a website gallery, packing email attachments, or storing photo folders, dealing with heavy digital media is a challenge. Optimizing files individually is tedious. A bulk compressor optimizes hundreds of megabytes of media simultaneously, combining them into one accessible folder container.

Secure Local Parallel Execution

Unlike cloud encoders that queue your personal photos on remote servers, TinyImagefy uses 100% client-side loops. The script creates isolated offscreen canvas threads for each uploaded photo, rendering and compressing files concurrently in your local browser sandbox. Once processed, the files are packaged locally using a script version of JSZip. This means your private files are never shared on the web, and compression speed is limited only by your hardware specs.

Choosing the Optimal File Format

  • WebP: Google's modern format offers the best compression rates. Select "Convert All to WebP" to minimize page footprint for web designs.
  • JPEG (JPG): Perfect for digital camera photographs. Select JPEG for maximum compatibility across older smartphones and desktop engines.
  • PNG: Best for vector layouts, illustrations, and screenshots. Keep PNG format if transparency profiles are required.
